Traffic Control Estimator

 

We’re seeking a Traffic Control Estimator to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in turning project plans into accurate, competitive bids that keep our operations safe, efficient, and compliant. If you have a sharp eye for detail, solid estimating experience (we are willing to train the right candidate), and an interest in contributing to safer roadways, this is your opportunity to grow your career with a supportive and fast-paced team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans and bid documents to define traffic control scope.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, MUTCD, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors on proposals.
  • Track project costs and support budgets from bid through completion.
  • Forecast employee volume requirements, traffic control equipment, vehicles, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years estimating experience in traffic control, roadway, or construction.
  • Strong math, analytical, and computer skills (Excel/estimating software).
  • Knowledge of traffic safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • OSHA and traffic control certifications (e.g., ATSSA) a plus.
