Type: Seasonal Construction Flagging

 

Recruitment is dependent upon anticipated demand and availability of work.

We're looking for motivated and reliable candidates to join us as Flaggers. We're willing to train those who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, the physical stamina, with strong communication skills. This is your chance to be part of a growing traffic control company expanding across NY and PA.

 

Flaggers are responsible for, but are not limited to, assisting with setting up and taking down work zones by loading and unloading sign stands, barrels, barricades, and cones while utilizing company protocols and procedures. Our Flaggers also assist with safely maintaining the work zones and ensuring public and crew safety. Flaggers may perform other duties as directed by their immediate Supervisor.

We're offering:

  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $59.16 /hour Subject to County Prevailing Wage 
  • Weekly paychecks

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to job sites as needed.
  • The ability to obtain ATSSA Flagger and/or OSHA 10 Construction Safety certifications, if not in possession.
  • The ability to receive and respond to communications effectively and consistently.
  • A flexible schedule that allows for extended work days and weekends as needed.
  • The ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds while setting up and taking down work zone traffic control devices.
  • Be comfortable standing for extended periods while flagging.
  • Possess teamwork, observational, and communication skills.
  • Be willing to travel and stay in company-provided accommodations as needed, returning home on weekends.
